All eSmart registered schools in Tasmania are to register online.

eSmart and your School Community Launceston TAS, 23 August 2019

Guest speaker: Daniel Donahoo, Alannah & Madeline Foundation's Senior Advisor, Innovation and Development

Daniel will look at the context of video games in the lives of students, gaming techniques that can motivate and engage, help us understand the challenges and issues with video games and look at the way our pedagogy can incorporate games with a view to helping students and parents use technology in ways that are safe, and responsible.

National eSmart Week Melbourne VIC, 3 September 2019

Guest speaker: Dr Anthea Rhodes, a well-respected developmental and behavioural paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital   
Anthea’s usual focus is on parents and this session will respond to how teachers can deliver content on school community behaviours and the positive impact of values cohesion, with a creative twist.

Workshop: AMF’s Senior Innovation expert and educator Dan Donahoo offers support to teachers to develop tools and practices that help build relationships with parents. Unpack the challenge of the child-parent-teacher triad to collectively build a kinder and safer online community.
